Legal Aid QLD attorney General announces new CEO of Legal Aid Queensland. Attorney General Cameron Tick today announced the appointment of Anthony Reilly as CEO of Legal Aid Queensland. Mr.. Tick said Reilly extensive experience as a lawyer and director of the public sector would Legal Aid Queensland continued to provide quality legal services to disadvantaged Queensland. The work of Mr. Reilly as an attorney with  Legal Aid QLD over a decade of experience in political and administrative positions in government, a stand-out candidate for this role, said Tick.

He has a long history of helping disadvantaged people have access to justice, having spent seven years working for community legal centers, including South Brisbane Immigration and Community Legal Service Centre rights and Well the Office of Legal Aid QLD environmentalists. He has also demonstrated a strong commitment to serving the community through volunteer and honorary positions with Prisoners Legal Service, the Nation l Association of Community Legal Centers and the best housing projects, he said. Mr. Tick said Reilly has held various positions in the Queensland Government and played a Legal Aid QLD role in the management and development of major projects such as the expansion of the Court of medicines and the establishment of the Committee on quality of health care demand.

Mr. Reilly began his legal career as an intern with Potter Woods prosecutors in 1989 and was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1991.
