There are two courts in Alaska: the Alaska court records superior and district. The Superior Court is the court of law . Each superior court is located in one of the four judicial districts of Alaska. The boundaries of the four judicial districts are defined by state law . The district court defined the limits for judicial retention elections in which voters indicate their approval or rejection of judges and magistrates.
The Constitution provides that the Alaska court records legislature adopt the lower courts as may be necessary . In 1959, the legislature created a district court in each judicial district and gives the Supreme Court the power to increase or decrease the number of district judges in each judicial district .
Judges Alaska court records preside over certain matters district court judges in the areas of the state where the services of a district judge full-time are required. Some magistrate judges serve more than one place of the court. Judges, magistrates also used in metropolitan areas to manage current business and to relieve the workload of the district court.
